Rava Pongal

‘Rava Pongal’ is a modern south indian dish. It will be the combination of Rava and Pongal Taste. If you serve this with sambar and coconut satney, it will be complete in taste.
 

Ideal For Preparation Time
Break Fast 45 mins to 1 Hr

 

Ingredients: (For Two People)

  • Ravai (sooji) - 100 grams
  • Green Gram (Pasi paruppu) - 50 grams
  • Jeera - 1 table spoon
  • Pepper - 1 table spoon
  • Ginger - Small piece
  • Cashew - 6 nos
  • Curry leave - As per your taste
  • Ghee - 5 table spoon
  • Salt - 1 table spoon

 

Procedure:

  • Boil Green gram for 10 - 15 mins
  • Fry sooji for 4 to 5 mins
  • Mix fried sooji, boiled green gram, salt with 1/2 litter water and boil the mix for 10 mins
  • Steer this mix until there will be no lumps
  • Fry pepper, ginger, jeera, cashew, curry leaves with ghee
  • Add this fry with the already boiled sooji mix and serve Happily
